Two days ago, enjoying last moments at Hornsund with Harpa and Brzydal we went walking/ running to one of the trapper houses, Hyttevika. It is about 15 km far away but because of sometimes very wet tundra, lakes and rocks we probably did about 20 km. Amazing experience and somehow difficult since the dogs were interested in everything that lives or ever lived on tundra from hundreds of reindeers and birds to animal bones and rest of eggs. Even if Harpa is 6 months and Brzydal about 11 years old they are very strong. I had the pain in my joins for 2 days:) The weather was fantastic, a bit windy but mainly sunny. We spent wonderful time. We come back next day on Jarek's boat.  |
